Name the plan and feature you actually need
Start with the exact product and plan: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, SuperGrok, Kimi or another service. Then name any feature that matters to you, such as a particular model, higher usage limits, file tools or workspace access.
Do not assume that two “Pro” or “Plus” labels across different services provide equivalent features. They are separate products with their own limits.
Dedicated, shared, workspace or invite
Ask how access is provided. A dedicated login is different from a shared account, a team seat, a workspace invitation or a subscription attached to another person’s billing account. Each setup has different continuity and privacy implications.
Avoid entering sensitive business information into an account you do not fully control. For confidential work, use an account or organization plan that your own business owns and administers.
Duration and renewal
Record the subscription term and whether renewal is included. If access is sold for one month, note the expected end date or term. If the package relies on a team or workspace, ask what happens when that membership changes.
AI providers can change pricing and plan features. A marketplace listing should be treated as a snapshot, not a promise that today’s feature set will remain unchanged.
Privacy and platform rules
Read the provider’s current terms and privacy controls before using a third-party account. Do not upload confidential documents, credentials or regulated data to an account whose ownership and administrative access are unclear.
For long-term professional use, buying the subscription directly from the provider is usually the simplest way to control billing, recovery and data settings. Marketplace access is better treated as a clearly specified digital purchase, not a replacement for account governance.
If a detail affects whether you would buy the package, include that detail in the written order before payment. Clear specifications are more useful than vague promises.
